in a galaxy far away

Or somewhat closer to home, in fact. Revisiting that hanging, glowing thingy in Gallerian shopping mall.

I LOVE this one. Very cool lighting fixture. We don't have anything like this in our malls. :)

You might want to compare with the previous daytime shot, just follow the link. I'd say the old one has the edge. Better angle.

Luis Gomez: There's nothing amazing about the rest of this mall but I agree about this particular piece. Cameras do tend to flock under it...

arabesque: Would you want to be cleaning this one? :)

Halcyon: Neither do we, this is sort of an exception.

Appreciate your leaving the light on for us, folks.

More Dune than Star Wars, but I agree: this looks like something from a place far, far away in space...

Nice shot! You make a everyday object look great.

Like it or not, the time has come (at least in this hemisphere) to pay attention to lighting again.

VP: We should both start reading something else...

Jacob: Appreciate that.

JM: I like to think this photo is somewhat in your style. Glad you like it.

liljeholmskajen: That's what it's all about. Being a tourist at home. Thanks.

Good of you all to keep us enlightened with your comments.

I love this! Beautifully captured, well done!

This was shot in a slightly unorthodox way. Without a tripod, all that remains is improvisation and pointing the camera almost vertically for a lengthy exposure was... a challenge.

Thanks, Tinsie.
