take my arm

Kids are amused, car drivers get frustrated and for the rest of us the wintry landscape is an ongoing exercise in risk control. When possible, find yourself an arm to cling to while walking down a slippery surface.

And then there's two slipping. Oh sorry, I'm just in a bad mood.

Swedish winters must be hard on old bones.

Owners of old bones tend to walk carefully...

(And yes, synchronized slipping is certainly a possible scenario.)

I'm glad she has a young arm to help her over the ice. What a kind lady.

That is so true. My sister, who lives in Wisconsin, slipped on the ice last year and broke her hip!

By the way, I left you a note on Ocala DP!

Since I slipped on ice and took a nasty fall about three weeks ago, injuring my left elbow and knee I couldn't agree more.

That's an arm and few additionl legs... Better to be on the safe side with slippery snow.

This is the lower end of a strange spiraling walking tunnel.

Halcyon: Difficulties tend to bring out the best in people.

Jacob: I hope that hips is on the mend by now. Going through such an event is no picnic.

Tinsie: Thanks! :)

arabesque: Some of us would want to fly south over the winter, like many birds.

Andreea: Ouch, I didn't know about that!

VP: And even better to stay indoors, mayhaps...

Thanks everyone.
