wooden house

A newly renovated office block in a backstreet. I'm not sure that the fake tree façade is a good idea. Looks like bad plywood.

I'd be inclined to agree on the plywood observation. Highly original, at least.

Asta showed a steel house in Sweden and now you're showing us a wooden building! What's the matter with you people - can't make up your minds? ;-)

I didn't like the looks of the steel house and I don't much like this, either.

But, fortunately, I know you have many beautiful buildings throughout Sweden!

As Jacob, I have just seen the steel house. Anything against bricks and mortar?
I don't know about the steel, but covering a building with bad wood doesn't seem a good idea...

The "plywood" probably is there to cover the proper insulation material. To me it looks like lots of office tables. Weird all the same.

Was it made by Ikea? ;-)

@Jacob, Vogon Poet, Svenske Floyd and Halcyon: You guys make this worthwhile!

We have to dig up some old fashioned brick and stone houses Per. Actually, I see something is ready for publishing on Wednesday (after a short underground stop on Tuesday).

Architecture, as usual, provokes controversy. I try to appreciate every new approach in this field but not everything is easy to embrace.
