old meets new
The old Årstabron in all it's splendour. The bridge is from 1929 but the train model is much newer. It has been around for two years.

Gamla Årstabron (eller östra som den också kallas) tillsammans med
ett betydligt nyare tåg: X60, om jag inte tar helt fel.

that's a really nice contrast! I like the idea of the new using the old things...
Everybody: Do the photo justice and click to enlarge it! It has - as Bernt once put it - "a big oumpf-factor".
On the photo we see one of the new commuter trains going south on the old Årsta bridge. Bernt's previous post "reflections of Stockholm" (2007-07-10) was taken from about the same spot (the new Årsta bridge), with the train - so to speak - in the back.
